MSI Unveils Its Very First 90nm Graphics Card - RX1300PRO-TD256E
Today, MSI introduces its next-generation PCI-E 16x graphics card RX1300PRO-TD256E based on ATI's new 90nm X1300PRO GPU and DDR2 memory for faster mapping efficiency. Furthermore, RX1300PRO-TD256E includes technologies like Avivo, Shader model 3.0 , CrossFire, and HDTV.
MSI RX1300PRO-TD256E default frequency is 600MHz (Core)/ 800MHz (Memory). With 4 parallel pipelines and 2.5ns DDR2 graphics memory, the card is claimed to "knock out" existing mid-end graphics cards like NVIDIA 6600 series.
In image quality, MSI RX1300PRO-TD256E uses next-generation video and display technology named Avivo. ATI's Avivo adds High-Definition imaging and video features for smooth video playback, sharp images, and universal connectivity with all TVs, displays, and projectors. Avivo delivers HDTV, PVR, and HD video playback with advanced 3D comb filtering, automatic gain control, and hardware accelerated processing.
MSI RX1300PRO-TD256E comes with full support for ATi's Crossfire. CrossFire's "supertiling" GPU renders speed sharing by evenly dividing the graphics processing, alternating the rendering workload to each Radeon GPU for efficient load balancing, and optimized performance.
