IDF Spring 2004 Japan: four new LV/ULV Pentium M, Celeron M and ULV Celeron M processors Today in Tokyo started IDF Spring 2004 Japan. One of the key events was the announcement of Intel´s four new mobile processors: 1.30GHz Low Voltage Pentium M, 1.10GHz Ultra-Low Voltage Pentium M, 1.40GHz Celeron M and 900MHz Ultra Low Voltage Celeron M, all based on 0.13µm Banias core. Intel stops production of 2GHz Celeron and redecorates Itanium 2 Today Intel informed on some changes in its Celeron and Itanium 2 lines. First, the company stopped the production of 2GHz desktop Celeron (C-1 stepping, S-Spec SL73H and 45W TDP) due to standard reasons — transition to more powerful models. Orders will be accepted until May 7, while the shipments will last until October 8, 2004. Second, Intel redecorated Itanium 2 due to changes in processor labelling technology.
