Kingston Digital Launches DataTraveler U30 G2 USB 3.0 Flash Drive Lian Li Introduces PC-P80N, PC-Z70, PC-Z60 Aluminum PC Chassis E Ink, Epson Develop 300-dpi ePaper VIA Launches New VIA EPIA-M860 Mini-ITX Board NVIDIA Introduces New GeForce GTX 560 GPU, Faster GeForce R275 Drivers Kingston Digital Launches DataTraveler U30 G2 USB 3.0 Flash Drive Kingston Digital today announced the new DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 Generation 2 (DTU30G2) flash drive that uses a native USB 3.0 controller for better performance and power management.  The new DTU30G2 has a read speed up to 100MB/s, and a write speed up to 70 MB/s. When plugged into a USB 2.0 port, the drive has read and write speeds of around 30MB/s. Novelty's dimensions are 2.90" x 0.87" x 0.63" (73.70mm x 22.20mm x 16.10mm). The DTU30G2 is available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities, and is backed by a 5-year warranty.  Prices
Source: Kingston Digital, images courtesy of Newegg Lian Li Introduces PC-P80N, PC-Z70, PC-Z60 Aluminum PC Chassis Lian Li launched three new computer cases: the mid-tower PC-Z60, the full-tower PC-Z70, and the full-tower PC-P80N inspired by Lian Li's classic Armorsuit PC-P80 released in 2008. These high-end, all-black PC chassis are now available. All three cases are made with Lian Li's trademark features like tool-less installations for HDDs, ODDs, PSUs, graphics cards etc., washable air filters over fans, anti-vibration mounts, cable clamps, ventilation, USB 3.0 connectivity, fan speed controllers, rubber-ringed holes for LCS, and all-black anodized aluminum.   PC-P80N PC-P80N. Users can choose to mount HPTX, EATX, ATX, Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX motherboards in this full-tower PC case. With eleven ventilated expansion slots, users can mount graphics cards as long as 390-mm long. Components are kept cool by no less then six fans. Three 140-mm fans that span the entire height of the front panel pull cool air into the chassis. Two 140-mm fans on the top panel and one 120-mm fan at the top of the rear panel blow heated air out of the case. For thermal-optimization, the front panel intake fans are hinged and directly in front of three 5.25" ODD mounts, ten 3.5" HDD mounts, and two 2.5" HDD mounts. Users can hinge the fans to swing to the right or left for easy access to the ODDs. The top panel is home to four USB 3.0 ports, one e-SATA port, and HD audio ports. Lian Li includes a USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 converter as well. The dimensions of the PC-P80N stand at 220mm x 633mm x 610mm (W, H, D).   PC-Z70 PC-Z70. Besides being available in black this full-tower PC chassis is also available in silver and mounts HPTX, EATX, ATX, or Micro-ATX motherboards. Eleven ventilated PCI expansion slots on the back panel can mount graphics cards as long as 390mm long. Three 5.25" ODD bezels are located at the top of the front panel. Below them, internally, there are nine 3.5" SATA hot-swappable HDD mounts as well as two 2.5" HDD mounts. Lian Li has added to the security of this case by including a lock for the HDD mounts. Three 120-mm intake fans mount on either the left or right side panel, for direct airflow over the HDD mounts. Two 120-mm fans on the top panel and one 120-mm fan at the top of the rear panel work as exhaust fans to expel hot air. Along a sloped ridge that joins the top and front panels, the I/O ports are all mounted for convenient access including: two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, one e-SATA port, as well as HD audio ports. The dimensions of the PC-Z70 stand at 220mm x 600mm x 592mm (W, H, D). The net weight is 8.8kg.   PC-Z60 PC-Z60. This mid-tower chassis is nicknamed "little brother," because of its remarkable similarity to the PC-Z70. Available in black and silver, the PC-Z60 mounts ATX, Micro-ATX, or Mini-ITX motherboards and has eight expansion slots with enough room for graphics cards as long as 305mm long. Three 5.25" ODD bezels are located at the top of the front panel. Below them, internally, there are six 3.5" SATA hot-swappable HDD mounts as well as two 2.5" HDD mounts. Like its big brother, the PC-Z60 also comes equipped with a security lock for the HDD rack. The fans are set-up similarly as well, with two 120-mm fans that mount on either side panel for air intake, complimented by one 120-mm exhaust fan on the top panel and one 120-mm exhaust fan at the top of the rear panel. Like the PC-Z70, the I/O ports are located along a sloped ridge that joins the top and front panels for convenience. E Ink, Epson Develop 300-dpi ePaper E Ink Holdings and Seiko Epson announced the joint development of a 300-dpi electronic paper device for ePaper Document Reader. Combining E Ink's high-resolution ePaper display and Epson's high-speed display controller platform, the new device will enable the world's highest-resolution ePaper tablets.  E Ink will manufacture, sell and support the newly developed 300-dpi ePaper displays, which measure 9.68 inches on the diagonal and have the resolution of 2400 x 1650 pixels. Epson will manufacture, sell and support a high-speed display controller platform optimized for controlling E Ink's high-resolution display. The display controller platform combines a display controller IC, applications processor, system power management IC, and firmware. E Ink and Epson plan to continue collaborating to promote the popularization of ePaper based devices in the business and education markets by developing technology, expanding and upgrading the product lineup, and providing customer support. It combines a 1.2GHz VIA Nano E-Series Processor with the VIA VX900 media system chipset and is mainly intended for digital signage, media terminals, infotainment devices and online streaming video.  EPIA-M860 is the first EPIA board which supports Windows Embedded POSReady 7, an operating system designed to connect Point of Service (POS) solutions with peripherals, servers, services and the cloud. The VIA EPIA-M860 offers PCI, PCIe and Mini PCIe support, combined with mainstream DDR3 memory and both ATX and DC-in power support. A fanless 1.2GHz VIA Nano E-Series processor is joined by the VIA VX900 media system processor providing DirectX 9.0 integrated graphics, HD audio and Gigabit Ethernet. VIA VX900 supports up to 4GB of DDR3-1066MHz system memory and offers advanced video acceleration for MPEG-2, VC-1, H.264, WMV9 and Blu-Ray HD video formats. GeForce R275 drivers are available here. Now I'll mention a few notable products among the multitude of new GeForce GTX 560 cards. And by notable I mean most factory-overclocked. ASUS presented ENGTX560 DCII TOP/2DI/1GD5 (GPU/shader clock rate: 925/1850 MHz, memory clock rate: 1050 (4200) MHz).
